Job Title: Senior Safety Engineer

At MatchaTalent, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our safety management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our employees, contractors, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Safety Management System Implementation: Develop and implement safety processes, participate in self-assessments, and ensure compliance with company and international codes and standards.
  • Conduct Field Inspections and Reviews: Identify safety concerns, formulate solutions, and develop corrective actions to ensure operational safety practices.
  • Participate in Safety Studies and Activities: Use risk assessment and mitigation methodologies to identify and evaluate critical safety tasks and control methodologies.
  • Respond to Emergency Situations: Provide technical assistance and advice during or after regular working hours.
  • Contractor Safety Management: Participate in contractor selection and prequalification, monitor work site compliance, and measure performance.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Support the reporting, classification, and investigation of incidents, and participate in incident investigations to determine root causes and make recommendations to prevent recurrence.
