Key Responsibilities- Organize and Conduct Regular HSE Meetings and Drills: The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for organizing and conducting regular HSE meetings and drills at the well site to ensure that all personnel are aware of the potential hazards and risks associated with drilling operations.
- Ensure HSE Activities are Properly Recorded: The HSE Supervisor will ensure that all HSE activities are properly recorded and documented, including incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Monitor and Follow up on HSE Statistics: The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and following up on HSE statistics, including incident rates, accident rates, and near miss rates.
- Focus on HSE Aspects of Contractors and Sub-Contractors: The HSE Supervisor will focus on the HSE aspects of all contractors and sub-contractors working at the well site, ensuring that they are aware of and comply with Petrofac Emirates' HSE policies and procedures.
- Lead Incident/Accident Investigations: The HSE Supervisor will be the main focal point for incident/accident investigations, ensuring that all incidents and accidents are thoroughly investigated and that root causes are identified and addressed.
- Develop and Implement HSE Plans and Procedures: The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for developing and implementing HSE plans and procedures, including emergency response plans and work permits.
- Conduct Regular HSE Inspections: The HSE Supervisor will conduct regular HSE inspections at the well site, documenting any issues or concerns and following up on corrective actions.
- Monitor Road Safety: The HSE Supervisor will monitor road safety at the well site, reporting any observations or concerns to ensure safe driving practices.
- Report Incidents/Accidents: The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring incidents/accidents in the field and reporting them as per Petrofac Emirates' reporting procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as HSE, engineering, or a related field.
- 5 Years of Experience in HSE: The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in HSE activities in the drilling field, with some experience working with international companies.
- Previous Experience in a Similar Role: Previous experience in a similar role is highly appreciated, but not required.
- Good Command of English: The successful candidate will have a good command of both written and spoken English.
- Good Knowledge of Computer Applications: The successful candidate will have good knowledge of computer applications, including Word, Excel, or equivalent.
