We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Wood, specializing in design and detailing of civil and structural works for oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in concrete, structural steel, underground drainage, and layout design and drawing detailing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Detailing Expertise: Develop and implement design and detailing solutions for civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with American codes and standards.
  2. Project Schedule and Manhour Planning: Efficiently manage project schedules and manhour planning, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and designers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Project Specification and Design Basis: Develop and maintain project specifications, design basis, and technical documentation.
  5. Greenfield and Brownfield Projects: Work on both greenfield and brownfield projects, ensuring effective project execution and delivery.
  6. Quality and Safety: Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with Wood's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.
  7. Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to discipline-assigned personnel as required.
  8. Change Control and Planning: Identify scope and schedule changes, and maintain planning on all work scopes.
  9. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain good communication with the team and client, and encourage lateral learning within the project.
Requirements
  1. Education: Minimum degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural).
  2. Experience: Minimum years' experience in the oil and gas industry.
  3. Preferred Qualifications: Brownfield Iraq Project experience.
