Key Responsibilities
  • Cell Processing and Quality Control: Perform all steps required for the processing, labeling, and documentation of stem cell products, adhering to strict quality control measures to ensure the integrity, viability, and sterility of cellular products.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with the quality team to ensure compliance with American Hospital Dubai policies, as well as accrediting agency, DHA, and UAE regulations.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cell processing activities, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Provide results to physicians as per defined standard operating procedure and collaborate with the quality team to improve quality metrics associated with the department/unit.
Requirements
  • Technical Competency: Demonstrates technical competency in the performance of routine and complex progenitor cells processing, and quality control.
  • Analytical Skills: Analyze data using spreadsheet and/or graphic software, and evaluate collected laboratory data to prepare reports as per departmental protocol.
  • Attention to Detail: Perform error-free calculations, including infusion cell doses, viabilities, dilutions, and cell concentrations.
  • Communication Skills: Provide clear and concise results to physicians and collaborate with the quality team to improve quality metrics.
