Position Overview

As a Healthy Cuisine Salad Commis, you will play a vital role in our kitchen by assisting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dishes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ingredient Preparation: Precisely measuring and preparing meal components, including seasoning various proteins and handling fresh produce.
  • Salad and Sauce Creation: Crafting basic salads and sauces that meet our quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Receiving shipments and ensuring that all items are accounted for and meet our quality criteria.
  • Stock Monitoring: Keeping track of kitchen supplies and alerting supervisors when stock is running low.
  • Food Safety Compliance: Disposing of expired or spoiled items from storage areas to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
  • Sanitation Duties: Performing cleaning tasks and ensuring that all workstations are sanitized to uphold health standards.
  • Presentation Skills: Plating and presenting dishes in an appealing manner.
