- Environmental Compliance: Monitor facility operating and business plans to ensure alignment with environmental protection policy and all applicable environmental policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Problem-Solving: Identify deviations and develop solutions to environmental problems to mitigate environmental risks and improve compliance with company and governmental regulations.
- Environmental Assessments: Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Greenhouse Gas Management: Develop, review, and implement Greenhouse Gas (GHG) management programs, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal GHG assurance audits and provide support for facilities' third-party GHG audits.
- Waste Management: Monitor solids and chemical disposals to ensure safe environmental protection in compliance with governmental regulations.
- Environmental Performance: Monitor air quality, wastewater and water conservation, and waste management performance.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish environmental KPIs targets aligned with company environmental policies and strategies.

- Environmental Procedures: Develop and maintain environmental procedures and guidelines.
- Benchmarking: Conduct internal environmental performance benchmarking studies among oil and gas refineries.
- Emissions Reduction: Lead and support the development of emissions monitoring, tracking, and reduction solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on international and regional regulations concerning emissions, waste management, water and wastewater, and GHG to ensure compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including field engineers, top-level executives, and regulatory bodies, to align with industry needs.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets related to emissions, equipment efficiency, and other relevant parameters to derive actionable insights for enhancement.
- Program Lifecycle Management: Oversee the program lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
- Technical Workshops: Organize technical exchange workshops among oil and gas refineries.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training materials to promote environmental awareness among refinery personnel.
