Job Description:

  • The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to define procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, assess make-or-buy decisions, and identify opportunities for cost savings and value improvement.

  • This role requires the ability to develop and negotiate long-term contracts with suppliers, manage risks related to pricing, delivery timelines, and supplier reliability, and implement cost reduction strategies such as bulk purchasing, supplier consolidation, and value engineering.

  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing e-procurement tools and ERP systems, collaborating with finance, engineering, and operations teams to align procurement with project goals, and evaluating vendor reliability, quality, and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in procurement projects, preferably in an asset-intensive industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
