Position Overview

As a Senior Customer Service Agent at MAERSK, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth handling of inbound shipments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Document Management: Receive and organize pre-alerts and ASN documents for incoming shipments. You will be responsible for verifying import shipment documents while coordinating with shipping lines and agents.
  • Warehouse Coordination: Inform the warehouse operations team promptly to facilitate effective allocation of warehouse space. Your follow-up skills will be essential for timely clearances and coordination with the trucking division to ensure cargo is received as scheduled.
  • WMS Operations: Prepare and update ASN in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will also close the ASN in WMS upon receiving confirmed put away sheets from operations and share the RCR with customers after accurately updating the system.
  • Customer Communication: Engage with customers regarding any discrepancies found in documents or physical cargo receipt. Reporting any inconsistencies will be vital to prevent mishandling of goods.
  • KPI Monitoring: Ensure that ASN receiving and putaway processes are completed within the agreed KPI timelines.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
