Job Title: Senior Engineer Gas Network Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer Gas Network Design to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Senior Engineer Gas Network Design will be responsible for performing engineering design review activities and planning for all city gas distribution networks and gas facilities projects. This includes cost estimations, budget preparation, project planning, and review of work packages to ensure the required engineering procedures are in line with best industry practices based on approved applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineering Design Review: Perform engineering design review activities for all city gas distribution networks and gas facilities projects to ensure compliance with approved applicable standards and regulations.
  • Project Planning: Plan and coordinate project activities, including cost estimations, budget preparation, and review of work packages.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management: Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including pre-qualification processes, technical evaluation, and bidding processes.
  • Scope of Work Development: Develop and update the scope of work, BOQ, and technical specifications for all gas networks and facilities projects.
  • Engineering Procedure Development: Develop and update engineering procedures and guidelines in line with latest international standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that engineering and designs submitted through EPC contractors and technical consultants meet company expectations with regards to quality, application of proven and reliable state-of-the-art technology, and incorporation of lesson learned on completed and ongoing projects.
  • Best Practice Implementation: Organize and supervise the implementation of best practices for gas network and facilities design activities, ensuring the application of latest approved technologies and compliance with applicable international standards.
  • Scope of Work Management: Develop and manage scope of work and deliverables for projects consultants, licensors, and engineering contractors for services in related fields as required.
