About the Role
Dicetek LLC is seeking a highly skilled Sanctions Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's adherence to international sanctions regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of UN, EU, UK, and US (OFAC) sanctions regulations, as well as export controls.
- Conduct thorough reviews of payments, trade transactions, and name screening to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Prepare and submit high-quality reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to analyze data, create reports, and present findings.
- Fluency in English is required, with the ability to read and communicate in Arabic being a valuable asset.
Additional Requirements
- Experience with compliance screening systems is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector, with a minimum of 2 years in financial crime compliance roles.
- Relevant compliance certifications, such as ACAMS, CGSS, or ICA, are highly valued.
