Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Building Information Modeller (BIM) to join our design team at Ghobash Trading & Investment Company. As an Architectural Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings, cutlists, and as-builts using AutoCAD software.

Your primary focus will be on preparing drawings such as wall setting out, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, flooring, joinery, stone, glass, metal, and related details. You will work closely with the Design Coordinator to prepare shop drawings based on the BOQ and tender drawings and specifications.

In addition to your drafting skills, you will also be responsible for coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC drawings and other trades. This includes managing ongoing revisions and changes as per directions and deadlines, as well as filing and managing drawings.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software;
  • Experience in architectural drafting;
  • Strong communication and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
