- Comprehensive Maternal-Fetal Medicine services available on-site.
- Expansion of the practice due to increasing demand and the opening of a new office.
- Hospital responsibilities encompass 20-30% of the role, with 15-20% involving surgical procedures.
- Outpatient office work constitutes 70-80% of the position.
- On-call duties for obstetrics are shared at a ratio of 1:4.
- The group averages between 25 to 35 deliveries each month.
- Access to a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
About the Healthcare Facility
The facility is a 420-bed acute care hospital dedicated to serving the medical needs of the community for over 85 years. It offers a wide range of specialty services, including an adult and pediatric emergency and trauma center, a Comprehensive Stroke and Neuroscience Center, and a high-risk obstetrical unit with a Level III NICU.
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Possession of a Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
- Open to candidates of all experience levels.
- Training in invasive and robotic surgical techniques is preferred.
