Job Description

A dynamic and experienced Hospitality Services Manager is required to lead the Stewarding team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring compliance with high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

  • Oversee the efficient operation of the Stewarding department, including training, support, and motivation of team members.
  • Maintain rigorous hygiene standards across all operational areas, including kitchens, banquet spaces, and food and beverage outlets.
  • Implement effective systems for controlling breakage and loss of equipment and utensils.
  • Ensure seamless supply and flow of operating equipment in the kitchen, including provision of adequate cleaning items and equipment.
Responsibilities
  1. Run the Stewarding department efficiently and maintain high standards.
  2. Maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen, banquet, and all operational areas.
  3. Control breakage and loss of utensils and equipment.
  4. Assure the flow and supply of operating equipment in the kitchen.
  5. Assign detailed work for stewards and update the steward operation manual, chemicals list, and cleaning schedule.
  6. Prepare and carry out the monthly inventory.
  7. Monitor and report on internal breakage and loss.
  8. Prepare chemical purchasing requests and equipment according to stock levels.
  9. Ensure the Stewarding Team is aware of compliance regulations affecting sanitation and hygiene.
  10. Observe guidelines when handling hazardous substances and comply with Health and Safety requirements.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure items required for service are available.
