Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience working with ADDC standards and should be able to contribute to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for various projects in accordance with ADDC standards.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations for electrical systems.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data for design and installation.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Review and analyze technical drawings and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and advancements in electrical design.
  • Ensure all designs are in compliance with safety regulations and codes.
  • Prepare project cost estimates and budgets.
  • Attend project meetings and provide progress reports to clients and management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the design and installation process.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of ADDC standards and regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
