Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for preparing financial statements, including management and statutory reports.
  • Preparing management and statutory reports as required for reviews.
  • Preparation of reports for internal distribution.
  • Drafting comprehensive reports for the management team.
  • Delivering oral presentations to varied audiences.
  • Effective communication of financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Excellent command of English language for clear communication.
  • Analysis of MIS reports and preparation of reports to the management.
  • Analysis of past financial performance and consideration of emerging trends in developing recommendations.
  • Use of innovation to develop alternative solutions to complex accounting problems.
  • Deciding and following through on courses of action.
  • Responsibility for monthly closing activities/reporting.
  • Monthly closing of accounts for the region, including preparation, approval, or posting of journal entries.
  • Monitoring receivable - proper follow-up/collection.
  • Monitoring payable.
  • Processing payroll.
  • Intercompany reconciliations.
  • Subledger reconciliation.
  • Standard cost revaluation during the year end.
  • Responsibility for evaluating and implementing new processes with improved internal controls.
  • Suggestion of improvements to internal processes to strengthen internal controls.
  • Liaising efficiently.
Additional Requirements
  • Experience in letter of credit documentation/processing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Working experience in SAP.
