Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Class Teacher in delivering an engaging and effective curriculum to students. This will involve working closely with individual or small groups of students, assisting with lesson preparation, and providing feedback to the Class Teacher.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and subject teachers to deliver a high-quality education to students.
  • To support students in accessing the curriculum by creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assist in recording and presenting evidence of student learning as required.
  • To follow agreed programs of work with individuals and groups of students working towards set targets.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of students in terms of physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Support staff with minor administrative tasks when not directly working with students.
  • To prepare and store resources required for lessons.
  • Provide feedback to the Class Teacher to support report writing, assessments, and Individual Education Plans.
  • Accompany students on school trips and ensure adherence to school policies.
  • Supervise students during breaks and communicate effectively with parents to maintain a positive school image.
