We are seeking an experienced Marine and Commercial Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of vessel operations, including coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Vessel Operations Management: Ensuring day-to-day maritime office and vessel operations run smoothly.
  • Financial Management: Handling local and foreign bank accounts, making payments, reconciliations, and establishing new accounts as needed.
  • Account Settlement and Auditing: Assisting in account settlement, auditing, and verifying supplier invoices.
  • Invoice Issuance: Issuing invoices according to terms and conditions of contracts and charter parties.
  • Accounts Receivable Control: Monitoring collection and performing AR control for issued invoices.
  • Cash Management: Supporting cash management efforts by assisting in collections and ensuring timely payments.

This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as proficiency in MS Excel and ERP accounting software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime accounting, with experience in the Oil Tanker & LPG Carrier industry.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Qualifications include a degree in Accounting or a related field and at least 3 years of experience working with Ship Agency / Owning / Maritime Company.
  • Negotiable Skills include knowledge of Arabic language (spoken and written) and relevant certifications in marine accounting or a related field.
