We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contract Engineer to join our team at Wood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts with clients and suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Contract Risk Management: Identify and mitigate contract-related risks to minimize potential losses.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience: In the oil and gas sector, with a strong understanding of contracting principles and practices.
  • Education and Experience: An undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, with a proven track record of success in contract management and negotiation.
  • Contracting Knowledge: Working knowledge of contract terms, contract principles, and drafting and rollout of contracting policies.
  • Company Systems: Working knowledge of the Company's Finance and P&O systems.
  • Corporate Procedures: Awareness of all relevant corporate and project procedures.
  • Client Contract Structures: Excellent understanding of client contract structures, principles, and policies.
