Job Title: Senior Enterprise Applications Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Applications Specialist to join our team at Star Services LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our enterprise applications, managing system patching and updates, and implementing new systems and technologies to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and follow IT demand management processes.
  • Work with business partners, software vendors, customers, and other relevant third parties to help IT system projects.
  • Responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance of software systems in line with agreed IT requirements and strategies.
  • Escalate incidents and requests to appropriate internal personnel or external vendors when further expertise is required.
  • Ensure that all software systems, procedures, and processes are effectively documented to agreed standards and kept up-to-date.
  • Ensure application security compliance and regularly audit security controls and proactively implement preventive measures.
  • Evaluate technologies that will improve the IT application infrastructure and recommend such improvement opportunities to the application owners.
  • Liaise with external suppliers of software/hardware systems and other specialist teams within IT in the delivery of application-related projects.
  • Undertake regular systems quality assurance activities to ensure systems meet internal quality standards and are operating optimally.
  • Create high-quality training documentation and digital training materials, conducting training sessions to develop the skills of team members and instruct users in the use of systems.
  • Train, mentor, and develop application support teams.
  • Participating in digital transformation projects, especially in the ERP environment.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge, skills, and experience in the management, support, configuration, upgrade, and enhancements of Enterprise Applications.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies.
  • Experience in robotics, IoTs, and other 4.0 technologies is a plus.
  • Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment and working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
  • Knowledge of Standard Security principles both from a systems and network perspective.
  • Experience working with senior non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in writing system roadmaps and leading technical design.
  • Experience in supplier management, licensing, and contract negotiation.
  • Experience in digital transformation projects, specifically tier 1 ERP environment.
  • Team management experience, including training, performance management, and development of staff members.
  • Experience of project management methodologies.
  • Must have minimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Abachelor's degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Management. A PMP or ITIL qualification is highly preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to develop detailed strategic IT business plans that include timelines and milestones.
