Emirates is seeking a highly skilled Aeropolitical Affairs Manager to join our team. As a key member of our aviation policy team, you will play a critical role in shaping the airline's aeropolitical strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and Analyze Aviation Policies: Stay up-to-date with domestic, regional, and global aviation policies and regulations, assessing their impact on Emirates' operations, market access, and strategic objectives.
- Collect and Analyze Data: Utilize statistical software and tools to collect, organize, and analyze data related to air traffic, passenger and cargo demand, market shares, route performance, and other relevant metrics to support Emirates' market access requirements.
- Provide Strategic Insights: Offer senior management clear and concise interpretations of research findings and complex analyses, both in writing and verbally, to enable informed decisions.
- Develop Aeropolitical Requirements: Create meeting files, proposed aeropolitical requirements, advocacy submissions, presentations, reports, and briefing notes for senior management's use at intergovernmental meetings and stakeholder engagements.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work with Planning and Commercial Operations teams ahead of bilateral air services negotiations and stakeholder engagements to develop Emirates' positions.
- Participate in Negotiations: Assist senior management in pursuing Emirates' traffic rights goals and other aeropolitical interests during intergovernmental bilateral air services negotiations.
- Build Relationships: Assist in developing and maintaining relationships on aeropolitical matters with aeronautical authorities, other regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders in the UAE and globally.
- Stay Informed: Participate in stakeholder meetings and industry/governmental forums related to aeropolitics, aviation policy, and regulation.
- Support Operations: Assist in government authorizations and schedule approvals for Emirates' operations to new destinations or additional flights to existing points.
- Provide Guidance: Offer guidance on relevant aeropolitical issues to Emirates' code-share team and help obtain approvals for code-share flights as required.
- Develop Team Skills: Support the ongoing development of the team's Analysts to enhance their statistical and analytical skills, as well as their understanding and knowledge in the field of aeropolitics and the aviation industry.
