About the Role

Mammoet is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Room Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our parts room and tool crib.

Key Responsibilities
  • Parts Room Operations
    • Issue parts and supplies to personnel upon request
    • Perform goods receipt of incoming shipments
    • Pick inventory as required
    • Put parts away in proper locations
    • Ensure the parts room is clean and organized
    • Conduct inventory counts
    • Restock parts room as required
  • Tool Crib Management
    • Issue tools as required
    • Maintain accurate records of tools taken and returned
    • Identify broken tools and send them for repairs
    • Replace missing tools
    • Maintain consumables stock levels
  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure accuracy of inventory, control stock levels, and report discrepancies to parts room supervisor
    • Perform other purchasing department functions as required
    • Use and maintain the computerized inventory/purchasing management system in SAP
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Post-secondary education in Purchasing or Parts Person designation is an asset
  • Experience
    • Basic to intermediate computer skills
    • 1-2 years of parts room experience
    • Experience with parts manuals and identifying components and parts is an asset
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with SAP database system is an asset
