Ultra Fast Grocery Area Lead

As an Area Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership: Oversee daily last mile operations for multiple dark stores, including managing teams of Operations Supervisors and DSPs.
- Team Development: Lead, train, and develop high-performing teams while ensuring associate safety and adherence to Amazon's Health and Safety standards.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, act decisively in a fast-paced environment, and exercise sound judgment to make informed decisions.
- Technology Enablement: Utilize software and hardware tools to ensure smooth daily operations and support the rollout and implementation of new systems and processes.
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
- Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma.
