AST Plus Technical Services LLC is seeking an Automotive Transportation Manager to oversee our fleet of vehicles. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for maintaining a valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance and equipment.
- Collaborate with our logistics team to develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency.
- Monitor and report on vehicle condition, fuel consumption, and driver performance.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
A bachelor's degree in a related field such as logistics, transportation, or business administration is preferred. Additionally, experience with fleet management software and knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations are highly desirable. If you have any additional skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, civil, or painting, it will be considered an added advantage and will impact your salary.
