About the Role:

AECOM LIMITED is seeking a skilled Facilities Coordinator to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of office systems, managing equipment maintenance schedules, and testing office systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair office systems to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operation.
  • Establish and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance history of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, operate, and manage office systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and leak detection systems.
  • Assist the Administration Lead in planning and executing new projects, such as fit-out of new facilities and renovation of existing facilities.
  • Report to the Administration Lead on improvements to cleaning, maintenance, and security services.
  • Maintain on-call availability via email and phone during business hours.
  • Assist in researching, reviewing, and selecting new contractors, vendors, and construction suppliers.
  • Manage the issuance and cancellation of building and office security passes to staff and visitors.
  • Manage key and lock changes to offices, cabinets, pedestals, etc.
  • Prepare reports, data, and make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
  • Test fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting on a routine basis.
  • Initiate emergency maintenance works outside of normal working hours as required.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in facilities management and maintenance.
  • Technical Diploma or relevant Bachelor's Degree.
