Job Summary:

The Stewarding Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the Stewarding team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization in the Back of House areas. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Stewarding team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Support the development and training of team members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of Back of House areas, including the pot-wash and dish wash responsibilities.
  • Ensure that all Health, Hygiene, and Safety guidelines are followed, and that equipment is used properly and safely.
  • Report any faults or issues with equipment to the relevant authorities, and assist in the location, movement, and storage of operational equipment.
  • Assist in the stock take of equipment and other items as required, and ensure that team members adhere to all Health and Safety and Hygiene Regulations.
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks set by the Hotel's Management.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Health, Hygiene, and Safety guidelines and regulations.
