Position Overview

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor essential financial metrics and deliver insights on performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Assess and evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic ventures.
  • Optimize capital structure and manage working capital efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting obligations and tax requirements.
  • Participate in periodic audits (both internal and external) and ensure timely corrective measures are implemented.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within an international context, particularly in the contracting or construction sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, tax regulations, financial reporting, and compliance protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and management abilities, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A successful track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP and BI tools is advantageous.
