Junior Mechanical Engineer (UAE National)
Dubai, UAE

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Junior Mechanical Engineer (UAE National) to support our Mechanical team in various design activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the MEP team to assist in design works.
  2. Prepare equipment schedules with support from the MEP team.
  3. Coordinate with other Engineers and CAD team members.
  4. Support Engineers with design-related tasks as assigned.
  5. Prepare or assist in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
  6. Assist in preparing detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts.
  7. Under the guidance of a senior engineer, review supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analyses.
  8. Assist in preparing and issuing specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
  9. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Required Skills
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  2. Minimum 1 year experience. Fresh UAE National graduates are welcome to apply.
  3. Basic engineering knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related field.
  4. Familiarity with AutoCAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
  5. Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and report writing.
  6. A team player with proven ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  7. Must be UAE National.
