We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting operations, manage key elements of monthly financial planning, closing, and reporting processes for the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.

As an Accounting Manager at Sulzer Ltd, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and supporting strategic financial initiatives to enhance the company's overall financial performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and tax requirements in all accounting practices, overseeing both internal and external audits and maintaining robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Lead the preparation of financial statements, manage audits, and ensure compliance with local legislative reporting obligations.
  • Guarantee timely submission of monthly financial reports and take responsibility for reported numbers.
  • Oversee the implementation of internal control frameworks and the delegation of authority (DoA).
  • Collaborate with the CoE to establish compliant end-to-end processes for P2P, O2C, and R2R, aligning with internal guidelines and the Group's Shared Services approach.
  • Ensure compliance with Group-defined intercompany transaction guidelines and oversee accurate reconciliation.
  • Ensure tax and treasury compliance with both internal Group policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement standardized accounting procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls throughout the company.
  • Lead, manage, and support the growth and development of the accounting team.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to assist in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring that accounting strategies are in line with the company's goals.
