Archirodon, a leading international contractor, is seeking a seasoned Cost Control Specialist to join its Project Controls Team in the UAE.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for drafting project-specific cost control procedures, preparing cost breakdown structures, and collecting actual costs. They will also perform earned value management, prepare monthly forecasts, and monitor project actual costs.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. If you are a results-driven professional with experience in EPC projects, we encourage you to apply.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in engineering, 10 years of relevant experience, and expertise in construction industry at similar level.
Key Responsibilities- Draft project-specific Cost Control Procedures.
- Prepare Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in accordance with Company's guidelines, WBS and Contract's pricing structure.
- Collect actual costs/expenditures and allocate to the CBS.
- Calculate the Value of Work Executed (Value of Work Done VOWD).
- Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) for both Manhours and Cost.
- Prepare monthly Manhours and Cost forecasts for Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Materials and other project resources.
- Review cost estimates of Subcontractors for claims and variations.
- Maintain records of actual cost elements (materials, equipment, manpower etc.) to use in the Project Close-Out Report and to provide feedback to the tendering department.
