Responsibilities:

1. Implementing management-specific policies and procedures.
2. Implementing management initiatives and projects.
3. Assisting in planning, monitoring, analysis, and controlling project costs, and regularly providing project-related reports on cost control.
4. Assist in developing project cost control plans, procedures, systems, and tools used to determine the potential cost scope, project schedule, and reporting.
5. Assisting in all requests for changes in the established total cost and the impact on the schedule.
6. Adhering to approved plans for each project to ensure compliance with costs and performance for the agreed-upon scope of work in all project functions.
7. Monitoring all fixed and variable costs.
8. Reviewing direct and indirect cost items and identifying cost centres for each project, allocating each project to its respective cost centre.
9. Contributing to the process of preparing monthly and annual cost forecasts.
10. Assist in identifying and analysing deviations from the project budget, their causes, risk analysis, and raising the necessary reports, as well as suggesting corrective and preventive actions.
11. Comparing actual prices for project requirements with the prices specified in the studies, highlighting deviations from the budget, and studying the feasibility of cost adjustment.
12. Coordinating with project managers regarding schedules, claims, and work items, and studying the impact on direct and indirect expenses.
13. Coordinating with the financial management and operations support staff to obtain current and accurate cost data for cost reporting.
14. Developing cost control systems, procedures, and error detection and correction.
15. Monitoring the total project expenses and participating in verifying invoices and claims, ensuring their proper recording.
16. Creating cost items and assigning cost codes to procurement items.
17. Preparing and updating the cost control management database and preparing monthly cost accounting and forecasting reports.
18. Ensuring the completion and timely submission of reports, and preparing reports in case of any obstacles or financial risks.
19. Reviewing purchase orders and ensuring that the cost of required materials and services falls within the project budget and scope before approval.
20. Assigning cost items and preparing deductions and cost recovery from subcontractors when necessary.
21. Reviewing labour and equipment productivity on-site and providing related reports.
22. Preparation of periodic reports on management activity.
23. Oversight of the team's work to ensure achievement of targets and continuous improvement.
24. Provide the necessary support to the line manager and perform any other functions in his or her competence.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
2. A certified engineering degree from the Saudi Council of Engineers.
3. Bachelor's with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar field.
