Job Summary

To ensure the highest level of security for Emirates Dubai, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support services to operation-related issues, ensuring compliance and consistency with security policies, the Airline Security Program (ASP), and the Security Management System (SEMS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support security operations with regards to statistics, logistics, roster patterns, and administration.
  • Maintain documents, manuals, and records for auditing purposes, ensuring they are kept up to date.
  • Contribute to the review of standard operating procedures, contracts, and other relevant documents that have an impact on operations.
  • Access information on inadmissible passengers and decide necessary action, keeping relevant departments informed, including coordination of flights, accommodation, deportation reports, and liaison with relevant authorities.
  • Perform travel documents checks on assigned flights and conduct behavioral analysis of all passengers to prevent acts of illegal immigration and unlawful interference.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g., immigration, embassies, and the police) throughout the network to prevent the carriage of inadmissible passengers.
  • Support the training of staff of Emirates and Ground Handling Agents to increase awareness of detecting and intercepting illegal immigration.
  • Support the line with requests for processing approvals and authority for VVIP passengers, commercially important people (CIP), internationally protected people, deportees, transportation of firearms, and inadmissible passengers, ensuring the movement of these passengers is monitored through liaison with relevant stakeholders.
  • Disseminate information through appropriate means outlined in the Emirates Airline Security Program as stipulated by the relevant aviation security regulatory bodies (International Civil Aviation Organisation, United Nations Organisation, IATA, GCAA, TSA, etc.) to other departments and outstations within the Emirates Group. Keep the outstations updated on new guidelines in the security program.

Requirements

  • Security: 3+ years of experience.
  • Qualifications: 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
  • Knowledge/Skills: Experience in aviation, supervision, and root cause analysis would be advantageous. Ability to write reports in a comprehensive manner and computer literate is a must. Experience in risk assessment would be advantageous.

  2. Risk Assessment: Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  3. Incident Management: Skills in responding to and managing security incidents, including documentation, reporting, and follow-up procedures.
  4. Emergency Preparedness: Experience in developing and implementing emergency response plans and training employees on safety protocols.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to security and safety to ensure organizational compliance.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey security policies and procedures to staff and stakeholders.
  7. Training and Awareness: Ability to develop and conduct security training programs to enhance awareness and preparedness among employees.
  8. Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for working with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal teams to coordinate security efforts.
  9. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with security technologies such as surveillance systems, alarm systems, and access control software.
  10. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze security data and incident reports to identify trends and improve overall security measures.

These skills are crucial for effectively coordinating security operations, ensuring a safe environment, and minimizing risks within the organization.
