Job Summary:
  • Lead the coordination process with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution, fostering a collaborative environment that drives project success.
  • Assist the Resident Engineer in performing contractual duties onsite, ensuring compliance with project requirements and maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Process contract documents and assist contract administration to maintain project integrity, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Develop, modify, and review production drawings and construction documents to ensure accuracy and completeness, utilizing industry-standard software and best practices.
  • Correct and update design documents to reflect changes and revisions, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of updates.
  • Serve as an architectural resource for the Design department, providing expertise and guidance as needed, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within assigned disciplines, ensuring timely and effective solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Advise the project manager on technical aspects of architectural works that may impact construction progress, quality, and schedule, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor interior architectural works to ensure conformance with contract documents and procedures manual, maintaining a high level of quality control and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of progress.
  • Review and process all shop drawings and architectural technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements, utilizing industry-standard software and best practices.
  • Respond to RFI's related to interior and architecture, providing clear and concise answers to ensure project progress and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Review construction submittals from project inception to close-out, ensuring compliance with project requirements and maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Review Contractor's installation method statements and shop drawings against design intent, providing feedback and approval as necessary, and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of updates.
  • Review Contractor's material proposals against specified technical performance requirements, advising the Project Manager on appropriateness and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of decisions.
  • Review Contractor's proposed subcontractors associated with engineering works from a technical standpoint, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of updates and that project requirements are met.
  • Monitor procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule, maintaining a high level of quality control and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of progress.
  • Conduct project site observations and inspections to ensure Contractor's adherence to approved shop drawings and Consultant's specification, maintaining a high level of quality control and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of progress.
  • Lead the snagging and de-snagging process to progress the works to completion, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of updates and that project requirements are met.
  • Attend project, site progress, and technical meetings as directed by the project manager, maintaining a high level of engagement and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of updates.
  • Prepare draft site/engineer's instructions, relating to the project, as required and issue to the Project Manager, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of updates and that project requirements are met.
