Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Management: Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of event-related items.
  • Cost Control and Budget Management: Work closely with stakeholders to monitor and control procurement budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured materials and services meet quality standards and adhere to agency guidelines.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, fostering positive partnerships for future collaborations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels for event materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing wastage.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, contracts, and vendor communications.
About You

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should have a strong problem-solving ability to address procurement challenges and assist in making informed decisions.

You should be able to adapt to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed. A team player with a collaborative and cooperative attitude, with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

As a minimum, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the events industry in UAE.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
