- General Ledger Oversight: Conduct thorough reviews of General Ledgers and associated schedules prepared by the operations team, ensuring accuracy and adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
- Financial Reporting Proficiency: Skillfully manage the Chart of Accounts, mapping processes, and the creation of detailed Excel and PowerPoint reports and models pertaining to Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and capital expenditures for management insights.
- IFRS Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding and practical experience in IFRS, including the capability to draft accounting memos regarding specific accounting treatments.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Possess hands-on experience in compiling complete financial statements in compliance with IFRS for large-scale entities.
- Audit Engagement: Collaborate with both external and internal auditors, actively participating in discussions concerning audit findings and related issues.
- Forecasting: Prepare quarterly, bi-annual, and annual cash flow and Profit & Loss forecasts utilizing Excel, working closely with business units and extracting relevant data from the ERP system based on sound assumptions.
- Business Reporting Development: Create and maintain various business reports, financial models, and standardized templates to meet subsidiary financial and operational needs.
- Coordination with Financial Teams: Work in conjunction with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to address closing matters, reviews, and reconciliations, while managing day-to-day coordination challenges.
- Financial Analysis Application: Utilize financial analysis tools and concepts, including return on investment, working capital management, investment analysis, cost evaluation, and performance comparisons, to provide actionable insights to business managers.
- Effective Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills to engage effectively with various departments, department heads, and teams throughout the organization.
