Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Metallic Equipment. As an ELV Service Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating assigned engineering work to ensure effective communication and coordination among the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission ELV systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Time Attendance, Intercom Solutions, Network Infrastructure Solutions, Public Address, AV Integration, Digital Signage, Gate Barrier, Turnstiles, Structured Cabling, and Switches.
  • Project Implementation: Responsible for the implementation of assigned projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and within the agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Method Statement Preparation: Prepare method statements for client approval and ensure adherence to approved statements throughout the project.
  • Project Engineering: Perform project engineering duties on small to medium-sized projects, including ELV coordination.
  • Communication and Reporting: Attend weekly meetings with the client project team, prepare weekly progress reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Critical Design Issues: Recognize critical design issues and resolve them in a timely manner by making necessary design changes and obtaining required approvals.
  • Change Management: Request new pricing for approved changes from the estimation engineer and ensure that all changes are properly documented and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Issue Reporting: Report on issues that may affect work progress as per the preset schedule and review schedules and priorities for optimization of time and resources.
  • Inspections and Testing: Request inspections for testing and commissioning, and prepare catalogues and O&M upon obtaining client approval.
  • Project Management: Responsible for handling projects from start to finish, scheduling, and completing daily/weekly activities.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD to design panel layout and schematic drawing is an advantage.
  • Certification: ADMCC Certified is a must.
