Key Responsibilities:- Sanctions Alert Investigation: Investigate potential sanctions alerts as a Level 1/Level 2 reviewer in line with Sanctions policies and procedures.
- Transaction Disposition: Make decisions on whether to clear or block transactions based on investigations.
- Name Screening Alert Disposition: Make decisions on whether to close the Name screening alert as a false or true match based on investigations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure review and disposition are adequately documented and prepare process-related reports.
- SLA Management: Operate within agreed SLA's and maintain the highest quality standards.
- Sanctions Regulation Updates: Stay updated with changes in sanctions regulations and guidelines.
- RFI Response: Review the response to RFIs received and take decisions based on further investigation in line with policies and procedures.
- Investigation and Analysis: Perform investigations and analysis based on correspondent bank and regulatory inquiries as and when required. Thoroughly document and maintain related investigation files.
- Collaboration and Escalation: Work closely with Sanctions manager and Senior officers to ensure timely reporting of true matches or breaches. Ensure escalation of significant Sanctions-related matters to the Sanctions Management.
- Training and Development: Participate and support Senior Sanctions Officer, Managers, and Head of Sanctions in the delivery of training on Sanctions and other activities to enhance the effectiveness of Sanctions Compliance Program.
