Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper & Inventory Coordinator to join our team at OceanAir Travels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse and inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: Receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment, and compile records of supply transactions; verify that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.
  2. Warehouse Operations: Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in a warehouse, tool room, supply room, or other areas.
  3. Inventory Control: Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind, and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory systems.
  4. Supply Chain Coordination: Compile records of the supplies and check the supplies periodically.
  5. Material Distribution: Receive materials and distribute them to all stores at sites.
  6. Inter-Store Coordination: Coordinate between all stores at sites.
  7. Administrative Support: Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
  8. Customer Support: Advise internal users on the appropriateness of parts, supplies, or materials requested.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or high school diploma.
  2. Experience: 1 year of experience in Receiving or 2 years in Storekeeping in a hotel.
  3. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook), good knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management, familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment, competencies in data entry, analysis, and management, keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
  4. Physical Requirements: Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English.
  2. Inventory Management Skills: Proficiency in inventory management/systems from 1 to 5.
  3. Availability: Ability to start work immediately.
  4. Visa Status: Valid U.A.E. visa.
  5. Driving License: Valid U.A.E. driving license.
