Data Center Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Data Center Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in managing complex systems.

As a Data Center Facilities Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including UPS's, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers. You will also supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including UPS's, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
  • Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
