We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering civil and structural design calculations and drawings within stipulated timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Delivery: Collaborate with a team of engineers and designers to develop and implement civil and structural design solutions for offshore projects.
  2. Analysis and Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of various analysis techniques, including in-place, preservice, spectral fatigue, seismic, pushover, jacket mating for fixed platform structures, lifting, transit, and blast condition of offshore structures.
  3. Guidance and Instruction: Provide guidance and instruction to junior engineers for secondary and miscellaneous calculations, and to designers for detailing and drawing.
  4. Specifications and Investigations: Prepare specifications for design basis reports and conduct soil investigations in line with project requirements.
  5. Team Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional teamwork to optimize layouts and general arrangements of structures, resolve interference issues, and coordinate engineering efforts with other departments and project teams.
  6. Technical Discussions: Conduct technical discussions with subcontractor consultants for review and approval of drawings and design calculations.
  7. Software Proficiency: Utilize hands-on experience with industry software such as 3D Model Review Tools (SPR & Navis Works), MS Office Suite, etc.
  8. Geotechnical Review: Review geotechnical reports and interpret soil parameters for the analysis and design of shallow and pile foundations.
