We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering civil and structural design calculations and drawings for offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a team of engineers and designers to deliver high-quality design calculations and drawings within tight deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of offshore structural design principles, including in-place, preservice, spectral fatigue, seismic, pushover, and jacket mating for fixed platform structures.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to junior engineers on various secondary and miscellaneous calculations and designers on detailing and drawing.
  • Prepare specifications for design basis reports and soil investigations in line with project requirements.
  • Cross-functional teamwork to optimize layouts and general arrangements of structures, vendor drawings, and foundation loads.
  • Engineering coordination with other departments, projects teams, and site teams for inputs and comments on civil and structural drawings prior to submission to clients for approval.
  • Technical discussions with subcontractor consultants to review and approve drawings and design calculations.
  • Hands-on experience with industry software, including 3D model review tools (SPR and Navis Works), MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Review and interpretation of geotechnical reports and soil parameters for analysis and design of shallow and pile foundations.
