About This Role

The Logistics Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the logistics and shipping operations at GMG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize shipping processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Documentation: Accurately complete shipping forms, invoices, and other required paperwork, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintain accurate records of shipping documentation and inventory levels, utilizing data entry skills to update records in real-time.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to streamline shipping processes, address any issues, and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to accurately process shipments, handle multiple orders simultaneously, and ensure quality control measures are in place.
  • Time Management: Ability to meet shipping deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with shipping software or systems.
