Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Develop, implement, and maintain EHS and QMS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards and nonconformities.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to employees on EHS and QMS practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of EHS and QMS activities, including audits, inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Prepare and present reports to management on performance issues and improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in EHS and QMS practices, recommending and implementing changes to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Incident Management: Investigate incidents, accidents, and nonconformities, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with management, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with EHS and QMS objectives and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12 years of experience in EHS/QMS roles, preferably on Etisalat projects or similar Telecom projects.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OSHA, or NEBOSH are preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of EHS regulations, quality management standards, and risk management principles.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in using EHS/QMS software and tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with strict quality standards.
  • Leadership: Capable of leading training sessions and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
