Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all stages of project lifecycle, from conceptual design to project completion.
  • Structural Analysis and Design: Conduct structural analysis and design calculations to ensure the structural integrity of our projects.
  • Design Review and Approval: Review and approve project designs and plans to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met and deliver high-quality results.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and EITs to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with our projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards to maintain our reputation for quality and excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering, design, and project management.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in using engineering software for structural analysis and design, excellent knowledge of building materials, and strong leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
