Job Summary:

Mashreq is seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Manager to join our Real Estate team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining complex multi-product group relationships and soliciting new relationships by originating transactions across our product suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Maintain and grow existing relationships with real estate clients, primarily in Dubai, by understanding their financing needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Deal Origination: Play an active role in deal origination efforts, coordinating between clients and product teams to execute mandates.
  • Credit Risk Assessment: Assess and structure facilities for assigned corporate relationships, working with Credit Relationship Managers to ensure compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Portfolio Management: Review existing portfolios, recommend credit facilities, and achieve satisfactory ratings on portfolio quality and credit management processes.
  • Relationship Strategy: Formulate relationship strategies and account plans for each client, ensuring establishment of appropriate penetration and cross-sell strategies to attain objectives.
  • Client Management: Develop strong working relations with existing clients at the decision-making level, positioning Mashreq as their preferred bank.
  • Account Management: Ensure effective and timely delivery of services and products to clients through proactive interaction across the bank, attaining desired customer satisfaction levels.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an active pipeline, focusing on new-to-bank transactions and business, adhering to policies and guidelines set out in the Central Bank regulations and Mashreq's internal credit, operational, and risk management policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate relationship management, with a strong understanding of the real estate market and financing product suite.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the real estate market, financing product suite, and related legal infrastructure, including Escrow laws.
  • Skills: Strong credit and marketing skills, with intuitive and judgment skills to evaluate risks beyond the obvious.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or real estate.
