We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Design Team Lead to join our team at Wood. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and layout of piping systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Layout: Develop and implement piping design concepts, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with safety, operational, maintenance, and construction requirements.
  • Cost Optimization: Collaborate with the project team to minimize installed and operational costs through efficient piping design and layout.
  • Project Management: Supervise production and prepare deliverables, including drawings and documents, in accordance with project standards and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure engineering and design quality, technical accuracy, and material quantities, adhering to Amec Foster Wheeler engineering procedures.
  • Contract Compliance: Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and client standards.
  • Safety and Integrity: Adhere to Amec Foster Wheeler engineering procedures for design safety and adopt safe attitudes towards engineering design, raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in piping design and layout, with a strong understanding of safety, operational, maintenance, and construction requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to supervise production and prepare deliverables.
  • Strong technical knowledge of piping design and layout, with a focus on quality, consistency, and cost optimization.
