About the Role

This is a key position for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with expertise in the manufacturing and repair of rotating equipment. As a vital member of our team at MatchaTalent, you will leverage your technical knowledge and skills to maintain and repair our corporate equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support in the manufacturing of spare parts for rotating equipment, including process selection, manufacturing plans, and CAM programming.
  • Offer technical consultation to manufacturing teams and external partners.
  • Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment, identifying cost reductions and process improvements.
  • Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.
  • Conduct technical investigations for repair return jobs, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
  • Implement the latest technology in manufacturing methodology.
  • Develop and revise technical procedures and standards.
  • Coach and share knowledge with junior engineers, quality inspectors, and technicians.
  • Provide technical input for purchasing specifications, including technical proposal evaluation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for repair work scopes.
  • Participate in technical exchange meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in the manufacturing field, with specific expertise in the mechanical design and manufacturing of major rotating equipment.
  • Proficiency in CNC 5-Axis machining and CAD/CAM applications such as NX Siemens and Solidworks.
  • Experience in reverse engineering is highly desirable.
  • Ability to train and develop younger engineers.
  • Excellent English reading and writing skills.
