Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technical Advisor to join our team at Kavak Mexico Dubai. As a key member of our after-sales support team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to our customers and assisting in the diagnosis and repair of complex vehicle issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Perform thorough vehicle inspections and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance to customers, explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Joint Road Tests: Conduct joint road tests with customers to identify and capture their concerns, ensuring accurate diagnosis and repair.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic repair work on vehicles, utilizing manual skills and technical knowledge.
  • Data Capture and Reporting: Assist Service Advisors in capturing data and creating repair support requests and branch field technical reports for submission to the Aftersales Distributor Team.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques through hands-on training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Automotive Technical Certification: Hold a diploma in an official and globally recognized automotive technical certification, such as ITI (Industrial Training Institute NCVT Certificate) or ITC.
  • Diagnostic Experience: Possess at least 8 years of experience as a diagnostic technician in German, European, and American models.
  • Technical Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of using various scan tools, wiring diagrams, and workshop manuals.
  • Diagnostic Equipment: Be proficient in using diagnostic equipment and special service tools to inspect engine, transmission, brake, suspension, A/C electrical, and hybrid systems.
  • Data Interpretation: Be able to read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately to maintain accurate records in job orders.
  • Protocol Understanding: Understand and work within established protocols, adhering to the requirements of Kavak After-sales.
  • Driving License: Possess a valid UAE driving license (a plus).
