About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Dock Master to join our team at RAK Properties PJSC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vessels in the marina are securely moored and protected from damage, and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assisting owners and crews with yacht berthing and un-berthing.
  • Ensuring that marina users obey the Marina Rules and comply with Health and Safety Policy.
  • Performing regular checks on berth occupancy, license validity, electricity, and water usage.
  • Liaising with government authorities and other stakeholders as required.
  • Issuing keys and security passes, monitoring the security system, and making patrols as needed.

Requirements:

  • Dock Master experience is required, preferably with accreditation from a leading marina operator.
  • Secondary School qualification with 2-4 years of experience.
  • A good general knowledge of boats, boat-handling, knots, and splices.
  • Computer literacy and ability to operate PC-based Marina Management System.
  • Pleasing personality, articulate, and able to relate well to customers and staff.
