We are seeking an experienced Custody Operations Lead to join our Accounting & Financial Services Department at Thomas Ren Associates Ltd.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily custody and payment settlements operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key responsibilities include onboarding new public market custody accounts, producing and reviewing reports, and maintaining recordkeeping responsibilities for all primary and contingency custody accounts.
An essential aspect of this role is collaborating with private asset investment teams and legal to facilitate new investment onboarding.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in global custody public/private investment operational services and proven management experience
- Recognized as a technical expert in custody operations and investment back-office management
- In-depth knowledge of custody operations, securities services, investment management, and related business operational risk
- Understanding of global custody, securities lending, transition management, prime brokerage, financial/investment instruments, and correspondent banking
