About the role:

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design, development, and construction of civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, dams, water, and sewerage systems.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage engineering projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  2. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
  3. Perform due diligence on the impact and feasibility of new construction sites.
  4. Survey new construction sites and assess existing structures for upgrades.
  5. Coordinate and supervise the work of all civil engineering activities on-site.
  6. Review, approve, and process all civil technical submittals.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience in Civil Engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a senior role.
  3. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and methods.
  4. Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools.
  5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize and plan effectively.
  7. Experience with infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities.
